Contemporary Teaching Approaches to Developing Critical - Creative Thinking
The aim of this programme is to train 6000 teachers from all the specialties of primary and secondary education sectors on contemporary teaching approaches. From the basic educational techniques the following active techniques are proposed: Project Work, Role Play, Brainstorming, Case-Study, Active ways of Analyzing Articles and others. This training programme will be conducted in 16 PEKs (Regional Training Centres) throughout the country with the teaching being done outside participants' working hours. The teaching hours will be 8 per week held over two consecutive days. The total duration of the programme is 64 teaching hours and is expected to be carried out some time in 2007.
