The aim here is to provide technical and scientific support to O.EP.EK, in order for the Organisation to carry out its work in the best way possible, particularly with regard to:

• The planning of training policies and submission of relevant proposals to the Ministry of Education
• Identifying educational needs of teachers in service
• Organising training actions
• Selecting training projects which O.EP EK will carry out according to its priorities
• The accreditation process of trainers' qualifications
• The assessment process for educational material and laboratory equipment

20 studies will be prepared within this work, which will deal with the following fields:

1. Identifying training needs in Primary education
2. Identifying training needs in Secondary education
3. Identifying training needs in Technical education
4. Organising on a stable basis the institution of periodical training courses
5. The investigation and recording of European dimensions on training to the realities of Greek education
6. Evaluation criteria and the evaluation of educational material
7. The introduction of innovative programmes - actions within the framework of compulsory education
8. Time management in educational procedures
9. School Vocational Orientation
10. Teaching of Ancient Greek and History
11. Managing the complexities within the school
12. Upkeep of pupils project files - evaluation
13. Deviant behaviours - crisis management in schools
14. Environmental education
15. Support to students with specialized educational needs or problem behaviour
16. Organising the institution of periodical compulsory training for educational specialists of Vocational High Schools (EPA.L) - Technical Vocational Schools (TEE)
